We, the people who are descendants of the Naayeebrahmana, were also known as the Dhanvantari Brahmins in ancient times. We are recognized as the first Ayurvedic physicians in the world as per our occupation. We were highly respected in society, as musicians and singers in the temples. As a tribute to our community, we have created a logo for the group of website and App using Lord Dhanvantari as the main insignia.
Around the Dhanvantari, the following symbols are incorporated to represent our community’s occupations:
- Kalasham: Symbolizes the importance of our role in every auspicious event.
- Comb & knife Scissors: Represent our traditional occupation as barbers.
- Kalpa: Symbolizes a box that holds all hairstyling equipment that represents our tradition.
- Dolu & Sannai: Represents our recognition as the Nadabrahmins, the keepers of the musical traditions.
- Styling: Represents our community’s grandeur in hairstyling.
- Ayurvedic Vessel: Symbolizes our connection to Ayurvedic medicine, an ancient tradition.
- Saloon Symbol: Represents our community’s adaptation to modern hairstyling.
